Out with my usual GP role, I am the Sessional representative for the Forth Valley Local Medical Committee and GP Sub Committee. For this I have been reimbursed time and travel expenses and to attend the annual LMC conference. My attendance at these meetings is to highlight any local area issues brought up by locum GP's and work around solutions for them.
I have also played a voluntary role as Medical Advisor for Augment Bionics (2018-2019) which has no financial incentive, but is a wonderful group designing highly functional upper limb prosthetics for a more affordable price.
