I undertake occasional educational work in China as part of their development of primary care and mainly involves training of GP trainers. I do not get paid for this work (in China) but do receive expenses so I am not out of pocket. This includes travel to China, accommodation and subsistence.
My paid self-employed roles are: (1) GP appraiser for NHS England (2) Royal College of GPs for assessing applications from overseas GPs to work in the UK. (3) As hoc lecturing for Department of General Practice, University of Birmingham (4) External examiner to University of Kent
I do not (as far as it is possible) attend any pharmaceutical industry sponsored educational or other event. Sometimes this is out of my control for some important national meetings e.g. RCGP Annual Conference
