I am a partner at a dispensing practice; there is an acknowledged incentive to prescribe more profitable drugs, which are usually the more expensive drugs. Every effort is made to avoid this incentive; I do not see drug firm representatives and try to avoid sponsored meetings. My practice has the lowest drug costs in the county, which is a testament to compliance.
