PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP | I am a partner at PwC. As a partnership we serve a number of clients in the public sector (including the NHS), private sector and pharmaceutical and life science companies. | £100000+ |
All of the organisations to whom PwC provide services might be said to have a vested interest in avoiding a reduction in over diagnosis, most obviously private sector and pharmaceutical and life science (PLS) companies. However, the majority of the work I personally do is with the NHS, which has its own possible vested interests in continuing to over diagnose, as it could be seen as a means to demand more resources. PwC's work, however, is firmly fixed on finding ways for public, private and PLS companies to make a greater value contribution to health and well being, and therefore in the reduction of over diagnosis.
