My income comes from my work as an NHS GP Partner and through funding from the NIHR/NISCHR in the form of a Doctoral Research Fellowship. I have previously received payment (total <£500) from medical journals including the BMJ for writing educational articles. I have eaten drug company sponsored sandwiches but have never directly received any payment or funding from industry.
