Over the years I have attended advisory boards and given lectures for various different vaccine manufacturers. The hourly rate is not huge - £500 for a day's work or thereabouts. I have never been asked to promote a particular product or to say anything I wouldn't have said anyway, based on my assessment of the evidence.
My employer keeps a register of "declarations of interest", and I have completed this.
