I am an NIHR-funded In-Practice Fellow. This pays my academic salary & funds my training and development budget.
I have investments in mutual funds, the composition of which I do not have influence over. I do not invest in defence or tobacco companies. I have a small number of directly-held shares in companies, none of which have medical or pharmaceutical operations.
My wife is an Investment Manager for a venture capital firm. This firm primarily invests in technology companies.
